  No one advised us it was an 'order at the bar' setup, we all sat there waiting to have our orders taken, until I requested someone assist, then had to write down 10 meals myself and go to the bar. Meal options were not on the menu, so for variants on chips/potatoes/veg I had to go back to our table to get more information from our party.
  Quality of Sunday roast was poor. No apple sauce, which was listed on the menu for the roast (and is why I ordered the pork roast) and no one told me beforehand that they'd run out.
  The roast comprised of frozen food, not fresh. Pork was thin, dry and low quality.
  Measly amount of custard on the dessert (like a spoonful, no exaggeration) - more custard was an extra purchase.
  Toilets were in poor condition, no coat hanger even on the back of the door. I had to put my jacket on the cistern.

  Nice old pub next to a premier hotel. Pub meals tasty with a good choice for everyone, children's menu avaible. Bar staff friendly and welcoming.

  Nice friendly place good food steak was sizzling on a bed of onions served with chips and mushroom and tomato excellent tikka masala was very good would definitely recommend
